Handcrafted rosaries and devotional keepsakes for the sacrament of marriage.

A marriage is the one sacrament the two people administer to each other, and the objects that mark it tend to be kept rather than used — put somewhere safe, brought out on an anniversary, handed on. A rosary is a better fit for that than most keepsakes, because it does not have to stop being useful in order to be kept. It can sit in a bedside drawer for thirty years and still be exactly what it was made to be on the day someone picks it up.

The pieces here are made in that register: pale, restrained, without anything that dates them to the year they were finished. They are meant to survive the photographs.

Every piece is assembled on individually turned links rather than threaded, so it can be repaired link by link for as long as it is carried — which, for a piece given at a wedding, is the part that decides whether it is still there for a grandchild. Made singly by hand, so no two come out the same, and one made again on request will differ a little from the one you saw.
