The craft
Meticulously made by hand, link by link
A cheap rosary is strung on cord, or hung on machine chain, and it fails where it is joined. Every link here is cut, rolled, seated and closed by hand — fifty-nine times, before a single decade is finished. That is why it can be repaired, link by link, for a century.

Care and blessing
Your rosary arrives unblessed. A blessing is given freely by a priest and costs nothing — it is not ours to sell, and it never will be.
What you have paid for is the making — meticulous, by hand, link by link.
Her story
Made by one pair of hands
Every piece on this site is made by Claudia Moura, at one bench, in the village of Contenças. Each bead is turned onto its own wire link and closed by hand, fifty-nine of them and more, which is why a piece takes the better part of a day and why no two come out alike.
That is a slower way to work, and it means what you see above is genuinely all there is: no back stock, no reissue, no second run in the same stone. A piece is either on the bench being made, or it is finished and gone.
